I fell in love with Albeiz's music via Alicia de Larrocha's recordings, but prefer the vivid excitement of these performances, expecially Lavapies. I also was utterly seduced by the Pavana Muy Facil (which isn't!) I now badly want all Miguel Baselga's other recordings. I particularly love the way he savours the more chromatic sections. Makes much modern jazz sound rather bland!
