They taste very good and could be mistaken for actual gummy bears.

Lots of sugar free products cause intestinal issues due to the laxative effect of the sugar substitutes... however, these products are by FAR have the greatest effect.

Not only is it liquid, pure liquid like throwing up from my butt, but it's also the loudest thunder farts I've ever had.

I purchased these for two reasons. First, I need to cut my sugar, so sugar free snacks are great. Second, I wanted to test whether the reviews were true regarding the great cleansing properties of these candies.
I am happy to say that I feel cleansed. They work just as well as drinking a bottle of magnesium citrate, but with a fruity, fun flavor. At first I was concerned that they were not going to work, but two hours after eating them, I went. There was not a lot of cramping, but my lower GI area was making some crazy noises.

Suggestions:
1. Do not fart - if you think it's a fart, you will have a problem.
2. Need to use some sick days? Eat a handful an hour or two before work.
3. Don't feel like going somewhere? Eat a bunch of these.
4. Constipated? These will help!

Overall, I am happy with my purchase and plan on ordering again. Too bad the 5-pound bags are so expensive!
Note: Took one star away due to early "trick" poop.

I now truly understand what she was talking about in Bridesmaids when she said "It's coming out of me like lava!". Not only is it liquid, pure liquid like throwing up from my butt, but it's also the loudest thunder farts I've ever had. Not to mention my stomach sounds like 2 bobcats are in there fighting.

I am a diabetic and have to try many different sugar-free products. Lots of sugar free products cause intestinal issues due to the laxative effect of the sugar substitutes... however, these products are by FAR have the greatest effect. They make me empty all my insides and then cause migraines due to the severe diarrhea that is caused. The only comparison is when I had major food poisoning from some bad cheap sushi. I am not joking one bit when I say that the amount of diarrhea is so crazy, that it causes HEADACHES. DO not buy this!!!!

I'm like a lot of other people. I've read the reviews for the Haribo Sugar Free gummy bears and laughed my hiney off. For me, though, that wasn't enough. I wanted to willingly subject myself to the hell bears of lore.

The unfortunate catch is that the five-pound bag of actual Haribo candies is $136. I'm in college. Ain't nobody got money for that. So, with Google as my trust companion, I went digging to see exactly what in the sugar-free bears caused people such volatile, poo-related escapades.

I quickly found the the culprit to be a chemical compound known as lycasin. Now lycasin has a fun little ingredient in it called maltitol. This, ladies and gentleman, is your diarrhea-inducing little devil of a sugar substitute. So I thought to myself, "Why not search Amazon for for lycasin?" Lo and behold, after a quick search, this very product popped up. Reading through a few of the other reviews assured me that this was what I was looking for, and for quite a paltry sum at that.

So, armed with my free trial of Amazon Prime, I placed my order. Fast forward two days later (yesterday). True to their word, my gummy tummy moshers arrived. Upon opening the packaging, I happened to glance over the ingredient list on the front of the product. The first one listed? Maltitol. That's a bingo.

I would have launched my fearless march into the realm of explosive bowel movements right then, had I not already made plans to meet a friend for drinks that night. Two beers, one shot of whiskey, and several hours later, I'm back home with my sweet gummy atrocities, watching 30 Rock with my roommates. In one sitting, I took out half of the one-pound bag.

Is that an irresponsible, stupid decision? You bet your bottom dollar it is. Do I really give two shakes?

I'm going on a cruise next week. I needed to drop a few pounds and missed the window to do a master cleanse. This worked in one night! I'm down 2.5 lbs and its only been a few hours! What a delicious diet!

Flavor of these is great and watching my sugar intake this is the answer. One word of strong caution. They are sweetened with Maltitol which is a sugar alcohol. Many people have gastro intestinal issues with excessive consumption. I ate too many the first night. They are so good they are addicting!! A few hours later my stomach started rumbling and felt bloated. Then the flatulence started!! WOW my butt was on continuous gas explosions!! That soon was followed by diarrhea from hell!! My butt became an upside down volcano!!! of very explosive diarrhea and I couldn't get off the toilet!! I thought I was going to crack the porcelain bowl!! Not to mention I had a household of giggling people that were awakened by my explosive, noisy defecation As soon as I cleaned myself and got back in bed I was running back to the bathroom!! I didn't get much sleep that night!! I found I can eat about 10 without much ill effects other than some gas. Eat more than that and your gonna be doubled over rocking back and forth on the toilet with exploding bowels!! Everyone is different so try just a few the first time and see how you handle them. You could really get revenge at the office or construction site though.
