Illustrated architectural monograph typical for l'ArcaEdizioni,

It is a typical and copiously illustrated in color survey of 14 works (projects) of one design firm (architect) on 144 pages. Like other architectural monographs from the l'Arca Talenti collection sized 9 1/2 x 13 3/8 inch, it was beautifully published on glossy paper, and full of excellent color photos, but also fewer usually b&w technical drawings (plans, sections, sketches, elevations, 3D schematics, axonometric views, etc.). There are a preface, analysis and introduction to the architect on a few pages each, then the main part presenting 14 architectural works, and ending list(s) of (selected) projects (credits) or office architects (biographies), etc. Each architectural work is introduced by a title page with a half-page text description followed by several pages with illustrations only. The quality of printing and bounding is excellent. It is slightly less technical and more album-like than the Architectural Monographs (No) series (or their present equivalent) published by Wiley-Academy (formerly Academy Editions / St. Martin's Press or Rizzoli).

This book, if one can really call it so, can best be described as propaganda for an architecture practice whose entire claim to fame is based on the architecture of its original founder, Albert Kahn. Unfortunately the architecture of the present firm Kahn and Associates has nothing to do with the great Detroit pioneer. It might be of interest to persons researching how great firms have gone bad.A waste of paper.
