The story of renowned architect Albert Kahn.
| ||||||||||||||||||
Although Kahn attributed much of his success to the good fortune of being in the right place at the right time, he exemplified hard work and perseverance. Matuz's account conveys that example for young readers who can see the results of Kahn's determination in their own world.

Good gift idea for young aspiring architects,

This review is from: Albert Kahn: Builder of Detroit (Detroit Biography Series for Young Readers) (Hardcover)
I bought this as a present for my nephew, along with a field trip of downtown Detroit, where we spend an afternoon spotting Albert Kahn buildings. He loved it and continues to reread this book! It has the right amount of history, a good story and explains basic architectural terms.
