This review is from: Albino Alligator (Audio CD)
Having listened to Michael Brook's "Cobalt Blue/Live At The Aquarium" for a few years and, more recently, his "RockPaperScissors," I continue to find that music great for relaxing, while it also maintains an interesting depth and texture. Now, I've been introduced to this CD, "Albino Alligator," and I find it even more captivating than I did "Cobalt Blue." It's really a soundtrack to a movie not yet finished in the listener's mind. The landscape of sounds evoke mystery and certain adventure, mixing ambient sounds with electric guitars and other instruments. Brook takes the willing listener on a journey that one doesn't mind repeating occasionally.
