5.0 out of 5 stars The best of Guttermouth
I tink that cd is the best that guttermouth did. That's 40 minutes of great punk. The best songs on this cd are: Mr Barbecue, Bruce Lee vs the kiss army and Marco Polo(18 seconds).

This cd Rocks

2.0 out of 5 stars Nope, this just isn't right...
I know this is their first cd, but it just doesn't have the snap and fast pace like the other guttermouth cd's. The songs have no emotion, some are just plain stupid...get Live From The Pharmacy and here some of these songs played live...with true energy! They sound great on Live From The Pharmacy, but just not enough snappy juice or whatever here.......don't waste...

5.0 out of 5 stars TOOOOOIIIIIIIIIILEEEEEEEETTTT!!!!, June 6, 2001
This review is from: The Album Formerly Known as a Full Length LP (Audio CD)
In the punk world there is an ongoing argument on when old school punk died and new school took over. In a recent epitaph.com poll (June 2001) a vast majority of punkers cited 1989 as the specific year for the new school overthrow. Funny that 1989 is only one year before Guttermouth recorded the tunes on "The Album Formerly Known as a Full Length LP". With the raw and offensive attitude and breakneck speed of old school, and the cartoonishness, catchiness, and yes poppiness of new school this album is probebly the nexus of the punk universe, where new and old meet up. Check out concert classics like "Bruce Lee Vs. The KISS Army", "Toilet", Race Track", "Oats", and my favorite "1-2-3 SLAM!"

5.0 out of 5 stars The Real Guttermouth, October 5, 2006

Aggressive, angry, loud and fast. Lyrics can be a little rediculous, but with a name like Guttermouth you shouldn't be expecting heartfelt Barry Manilow. This album will make you want to kick your pregnant neighbor down the stairs.

5.0 out of 5 stars guttermouth in their prime, October 10, 2003
This review is from: The Album Formerly Known as a Full Length LP (Audio CD)
Guttermouth is not a band for everyone. You either love them or dont like them at all. Take your chances and buy this album. The first time I heard guttermouth I fell in love. I never miss any of their shows, Guttermouth is one of the funnest bands u can see live. This album is in my opinion Guttermouth at their best. "1-2-3 slam" and "Bruce Lee" are essential Guttermouth songs. This album is good from beginning to end, if u don't get this one go for "Musical Monkey".

5.0 out of 5 stars classic punk rock, March 4, 2003

maybe not guttermouths best cd, but absolutely a must have for the g-mouth fan. took bad language to another level. their style has changed since this initial release (maybe for the better) but the proliferation of wicked guitar leads by mr. scott sheldon give this album a very unique taste amongst other g-mouth releases and any punk rock of the era. not to mention the fact that there are about a million tracks on the album.....definately buy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars A complete alienation of humanity, July 19, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Album Formerly Known as a Full Length LP (Audio CD)
This has been one of my favorite albums for years. There is no possible way that any self-respecting punk can exist coherently without this disc in his/her (Check out P.C. on "friendly people" for an explanation collection. If nothing else, you just have to worship this band for their complete lack of tact. This record is basically 1,000 snotty f**k-you's to every bimbo,... klepto, and parent alive. BUY IT NOW!

4.0 out of 5 stars Old-School Fans, April 30, 1999

For those of you who began listening to Guttermouth's new stuff first and want to go back to their roots, purchase this album. Although a lot of the tracks have an aquired taste, you'll soon discover yourself wanting to listen to these songs again and again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great cd but somethings not right..., February 21, 2003

This cd is very good, but i cant help to wonder its really hard to listen through all of it. I listened to it on my discman today on the way to the beach and i got an EXTREME headache.
If your planning to get this and listen to it on a cd player maybe you should get it, but if you listen to music 99% of the time on your discman like me, dont waste your money because your just gonna get a migrain.
