This review is from: The Album Of The Soundtrack Of The Trailer Of The Film Of Monty Python And The Holy Grail (Audio CD)
Of all of the Monty Python Re-Issues,this one is by far the biggest rip-off!

The ORIGINAL version of this album is probably Monty Python's FUNNIEST album. But THIS VERSION,is a tepid re-issue,and the "Bonus" material is an insult to fans!

Once more... no "NEW" liner notes. It's a reprint of the entry from "The Monty Python Encyclopedia"(1999). The artwork is not "NEW",it's merely previously seen items from Terry Gilliam's sketch books. The "Bonus" Material consists of "Documentary" which is just the audio portion of Palin & Jones's travelogue from the "Holy Grail" 2-DVD Set! ( Yeah, funny how the visual jokes lose a lot on a C.D.). The other two "bonus" items,"Arthur's Song" & "Run Away Song" ( not to be confused with the "Spamalot" songs of the same names.),are apparently written by Neil Innes, but these versions are NOT Neil Innes performing them. These songs are some male & female voices singing along to an accordian. No credits to identify what these are at all.

Definitely not worth re-purchasing.
