5.0 out of 5 stars A profound, multi-disciplinary synthesis, March 16, 2005
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
If you aren't inclined towards books that require you to stretch your mind in order to study complex concepts (like some of the Seth books) then this book isn't for you. But if you are, you will be richly rewarded with this goldmine of a book!

The material is sophisticated, scientific, and technical. Barbara Hand Clow crafts an explanation of the dimensions through the fields of astronomy, physics, geometry, and spirituality, among others, with the mastery of a wizard - a true work of alchemy. Readers gain a sense of the nature of each dimension and how each one influences our lives. Gerry Clow ushers in each chapter with a meditation that flavors the particular dimension. I wish I had followed the authors' advice to read one chapter a day; I didn't because I was so enthralled. But, no joke - this is a LOT to process. The quality of the material is phenomenal and on the second read, I found it even more interesting.

Be forewarned - this is not easy material to grasp. But this book was exactly what I was looking for: an understanding of how each of the dimensions affects our chakra systems, how the information from the dimensions is disseminated, and a practical guide to integrating the information in daily life. If these ideas are up your alley, you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only If You're Ready...., September 15, 2006
By
Spiritlight "Spiritlight" (Denver, CO United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
This is one of those books that you will understand ONLY if you're ready! If you are *not* at this particular place in your spiritual search, this book will make no sense to you whatsoever. If you are, then this book will open up a wealth of insight previously unavailable.

I have been reading Barbara Marciniak's Pleaidian books (also written for the spiritually ready), and felt this was an adjunct to the studies I have undertaken in this area. Barbara Hand Clow's book has served to expand my view of possibilities, to challenge my thinking even further and to delve deeper into my own truth. In doing so, I can clearly see that this book would appear to be complete gibberish to anyone not at this particular spiritual juncture--that's *spiritual,* not religious.

In reading Alchemy of Nine Dimensions, along with other Pleaidian books including Marciniak's, things make more sense than they ever have in my over four decades on this planet. History, religious teachings, human nature and potential--all were a totally disconnected jumble before, whereas now all the disparate pieces are falling into place.

If you are up to the challenge of stepping beyond sleeping-sheep paradigms, read this book, and then decide.

5.0 out of 5 stars An intersting book!, September 21, 2007
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
I the beginning it took me a little bit to get used to Barbara's style and the concepts, considering that this was my first read by her. Nevertheless, the book is wonderfully laid out and explained so thoroughly that however complex the ideas (which were completely foriegn to me)became comprehendible, mind expanding and exciting! it is almost a text book like approach, very systematic and scientific- I loved it! Paired with Gerry's gentle meditations especially towards the end of the book were extremely helpful. When I finished the book I was in complete awe (and tears) perhaps for having gained such a fresh new perspective and a deeper understanding. This was a great book, I recommend it to anyone!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
Barbara Hand Clow has quickly become one of my favorite writers and this book is one of her best. One recommendation that I would make about this book, is that you first read her book the "Plaiedian Agenda" which will prepair your mind to be able to comprehend what this is all about. Without doing this, you will most likely be lost during the first half of this book and wonder where all of this is going and why.

I recently discovered this writter and have now read all of her books and haven't found a bad one in the lot. Her research and reference sources are all laid out so you can take the same journey as she has if you wish to expand on your own knowledge further. I personally have used several of these links to continue my own study of the new age of light that is descending upon us rapidly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Typical New Age with a Touch of Intolerance, June 28, 2011

I'm going to say right now that it has been over a year since I bought and read this book (which I have since disposed of in a recycling bin). My memories of the book may be a little muddled.

This book is your typical New Age story of alternate dimensions, vibrations, aliens, spirits, ancient human technology et cetera. It's a thought provoking book, regardless of falling into the typical New Age talk.

My one problem with the book, that I can remember from my reading, is that the author seems to have a strong bias against the Roman Catholic Church, usually when it comes to the abuse scandals of the recent decade. I'll say right here that I was raised in a Catholic family and went to two Catholic schools, but I am not Catholic myself. I'm not religious at all. I don't find the internet an appropriate place to say these sorts of personal things, but I have to let people know where I'm coming from.

This book makes some rather disgusting remarks about the Catholic Church, remarks that felt like they had no basis in learned opinion. I don't want this to turn into a discussion on religion, so I will just say, as a secular defense of the Church: every religion has its faults because their human followers have their faults. Religions are communities of individuals. Every community has its faults. Some are worse than others, but a fault is a fault is a fault. Pointing out those faults without suggesting a manner of healing it, or even considering the notion that it can be healed within the community, is just as much a fault.

Back to the book, like I said, it's intriguing (for being a typical New Age book) and if you can accept its faults and see where correction may be needed, then it may open your mind to different possibilities about our world.

2.0 out of 5 stars intriguing and confusing, December 25, 2009
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
I bought this book after reading the author's website and listening to a recorded interview of her views on the 2012 benchmark.
She sounded highly cogent, intelligent, sensitive and serious.

I could not understand most of what she was talking about in this book; there were too many references to matters I'd never heard of before; this process continued throughout the book so that by the end I had no idea at all of what she was discussing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alchemy of Nine Dimensions, July 6, 2008
This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
Hi,

Greetings from Giovanni Orlando. I start to read the book, and plan to complete soon. It looks and includes excellent sources.
For the people that like Pleiadian channeling, I advice "Awakeing your Divine Ka" by Amorah Quan-Yin, like a companion book for "The Pleiadian Agenda", and this book "Alchemy of Nine Dimensions" as a sequel.

Interesting book. Crappy shipping from Amazon. Tossed all the books in the box loose with DVDs which worked their way between pages damaging them. Highly recommend NOT purchasing books via Amazon.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please save your money!, March 2, 2009

This review is from: Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar (Paperback)
I am sorry folks. I read material on the paranormal of one kind or another all the time and, have done so all my life. But, this book borders on being unreadable. If you have a PhD in Geometry, Algebra and Physics you might be able to understand this book. For all I know it might have been sent to her by a Space Goddess. But, this book could have been written in Latin and, I would not even have noticed. This book is as dry as reading footnotes in a physics book. If your going to write a book write it so your readers can have a change to understand what you are saying (I am a college grad with a major in Accounting). This book should not have been published. This book should not have been sold. It borders on being thief. Please do not waste your money on this book.
