My Parents are IN LOVE with this smooth textured cream and it works on ALL of their aches and pains! You know the usual pain creams make you smell like medicine and who wants the world to know you're health problems?

How this cream works is, you find the core or spot of the pain and then you put on about the size of a quarter and simply rub in. You may use it liberally up to four times a day. (I hardly think you'll need to use it that much!) It works almost immediately! Five minutes the most and you can't smell a thing! The cream has a wonderful smooth texture and in case you need to have someone else reach the spot for you, the scent is not carried from person to person, because it's not there!

I am AMAZED that this cream even works on my mother's terrible arthritis pain that she gets in her hands. She said that she wouldn't trade it for a thing and couldn't possibly go back to using anything else. My father had a terribly complex back surgery and uses this on his lower back and is immediately relieved of his pain. I'm just happy to see them feeling more like themselves. After all, no one likes to see the ones they love in pain!

I'm thrilled they're happy and not a bit surprised at the out come! Thank you Vine for another great product! Try it! You will NOT be disappointed!

I have suffered from some very severe back problems for 10 or more years and by most nights my back is screaming for help!

Normally I pull out my trusty pain cream that I have used forever, however this time I decided to try Alcis Daily Relief Pain Cream. While it does not offer the quick relief my other pain creams provide it does provide gradual relief over a period of time which alleviates the pain for a longer period.

The one major advantage the tube has over all over products is the cap and makes applying to your back very easy.

All-in-all if you have mild pain, and need an easy way to keep it in check I would recommend taking a look at this cream.

Yes-believe the "encapsulated" pain releif blah blah blah of the ads. When I noticed you can pick this cream up at CVS, Walgreens or right-aide...etc, I said, yea this stuff is going to suck. I happy to report; I was wrong!! This stuff really does help! Once you rub ALCiS Daily Relief cream onto your sore joint or muscle you won't feel a thing. You won't feel instant relief, you won't feel the tingling sensation that accompanies most other pain relief creams and you may even wonder what you paid for. I worked ALCiS into their daily training (6 days a week) and recovery and the reactions thus far are quite promising. There has been mild to moderate relief and I felt it was most effective on relieving pain associated with minor tendon inflammation (in my case, tendonitis and shoulder joint pain).

So, from a medical side; unlike Bengay or Icy-Hot, which use methanol to numb pain, ALCiS utilizes trolamine salicylate to gradually ease your joint or muscle pain away. This is hardly a medical breakthrough - trolamine salicylate has been used for decades, most notably in Aspercreme, but it's ALCiS' unique delivery system that makes the product totally unique.

So here is what I like: not greasy, works as promised and most important NO SMELL at all .

Here's what I don't like: It's a bit pricy for 4oz and its not available in sizes larger than 4oz.

When I received my Alcis Relief Pain Relief Cream in the mail, I was very excited. Because of extreme stress which I had been going through and pain from trying to exercise at the same time, I needed a pain relief cream.

ALCIS RELIEF PAIN RELIEF CREAM is not greasy at all. It has a smell reminiscent of the old Bain De Soleil ( I think I spelled that right) Suntan gel from many years ago- I am not sure if they make it still or not.

The cream is not colored and it is not greasy at all. It rubs into the skin pretty quickly and smoothly.

I have applied this cream every two hours on sore muscles with no apparent change at all.

With pain relief creams I have found that what works beautifully for one person might not work at all for another, so just because it did not work for me does not mean that it will not work for you.

There is a lot of herbal and supplemental content in this cream (camellia leaf, Chamomillla Recutita flower extract, Glucosamine Sulfate, Lavender extract, rosemary leaf extract, and grape seed extract are some examples).

There are some silicone derivatives in this which make a smooth application.

Just like everything I buy if there is any claim I am always skeptical, especially when it comes to pain relief.

So when I hurt my arm doing my daily weightlifting I applied this Alcis to the hurt area. Within a couple of minutes (as I continued to do reps) I could actually feel that it was hurting/throbbing less and less.

Later that night it started to hurt again, applied some more and sure enough within a couple of minutes it was feeling better.

The smell of the cream is nothing even close to the other pain relief creams. No menthol or pungent/harsh capsaicin smell, in fact it smells just like an all natural body lotion.

The cream goes on like lotion, a bit greasy but I'm willing to put up with it considering the other pain relief creams are VERY greasy. You also don't get that icy/hot feeling that you typically associate with the other pain creams that are out there.

The other complaint I have is that it doesn't last all that long compared to Thera-Gesic or most other analgesic creams.

This is a great cream for temporary relief (maybe an hour MAX), and I don't see this taking place of my Tiger Balm or Thera-Gesic.

PROS:
Works quickly.
Smells pleasant.
Goes on less greasy as other pain creams.

CONS:
Doesn't last all that long, must reply constantly.

I tried this cream after straining a bicep muscle and kept waiting for relief that never came. After using it for two days with no effect I thought that perhaps my kind of pain was not the best for ALCiS. It is a pleasantly scented cream that goes on very easy but tends to be tacky after applying and re-applying. My husband suffers from arthritis in his fingers and he golfs every day so he tried it. He applied it before and after his round but did not notice a change. After we both tried it for a few days we gave in to the fact that it would be nothing more than a skin softener for us.

This is my second review on this.
If I could, I would change this to a 4 star!

When I first used this, I didn't think it did anything.

Now its so cold out, and I have Arthritis in my right middle finger, as
my husband has it in his hands.
I think this is wonderful and it works.It does take a little bit of time for it to work.
its not going to take the arthritis away, but it will take care of the pain for
a couple of hours.

Although I have to say, I have not noticed much relief in my neck, but I think that is from tention!

If you wash your hands, you have to use it again.

This does NOT have a yucky smell. Its not greasy, just have to use a very small
amount.

I do think this is Expensive!

I ordered this product thinking it would help my bad knee. Maybe my knee is just too far gone. This Pain Relief Cream didn't really give me any relief from pain, but like any lotion, did feel good applying it. It has a light scent that isn't overwhelming or medicinal smelling. The consistency is nice and creamy but not too greasy. It absorbed quickly. But, I didn't notice any lessening of pain. Not a bit. I haven't tried very many topicals, so can't well compare this to any others. It doesn't smell like Ben-Gay, so I have it two stars. I asked my DH, a physician asst, about it and he said that none of the topicals provide much pain relief--they just may feel good applying or the medicinal scent or menthol of some may provide a patient with some feeling that good is happening. Anyway, didn't work for me.

First of all, the first thing I noticed about this cream was its lovely smell. Usually, pain creams let you know they are pain creams by the pungent medicinal smell. I used this on my back for sciatica pain and it did seem to help-I would continue to use it.
