my son is incarcerated because of addiction and has learned to speak Spanish while in prison. i am in recovery myself and wanted to send him the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous so he could begin his own recovery journey. because the Big Book is available in Spanish, that's the one i ordered for him. i talked w/him last week and he said he has read nearly half of it already.
i am so grateful to Amazon.com -- i have ordered numerous books and magazines on this site and have had them shipped directly to my son. many bookstores will NOT mail to prisons, but i have always been able to find just what i want on Amazon. thank you for being there! |
