Sterile. For soft, rigid, gas permeable and hard contact lenses. Especially for sensitive eyes (for thimerosal sensitive patients). Thimerosal-free formula. For use with daily and extended wear soft (hydrophilic), rigid gas permeable (silicone acrylate and fluorosilicone acrylate) and hard contact lenses. Opti-Clean II Daily Cleaner is a new generation cleaner which scientifically combines cleaning agents to effectively remove deposits from lens surfaces. This provides concentrated cleaning action which is harmless to lens surfaces. Regular use will help keep lenses clearer longer and improve wearing comfort. Description: Opti-Clean II Daily Cleaner is especially formulated to effectively remove mucus, oil, proteinaceous, cosmetic and other deposits from soft (hydrophilic), rigid gas permeable (silicone acrylate and fluorosilicone acrylate) and hard contact lenses. Note: This 1 fl oz (30 ml) container has been filled to 2/3 fl oz (20 ml) to allow sufficient space for shaking.

This is the cleaner I've used since I got contact lens about 18 years ago. None other will keep my lenses free from filmy buildup. I have to work hard to find it--none of my local stores stock it anymore. Too bad.

The product works well, but I feel it's over-priced for the size. And I would like to see it be made available everywhere, not just online, because the shipping costs are as much if not more than the product.

Hello. I have used this cleaner for over 10 years and it has to be one of the best formulas for removing daily deposits that build up between enzymatic treatments. It is very abrasive and must be used gently. It appears the cleaner is becomming more difficult to find and more expensive as less retailers stock it.
