More About the Author

Kevin D. Randle is a retired lieutenant colonel who served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and in Iraq as a battalion intelligence officer. He began writing for UFO magazines and eventually moved onto books. A goal had been to publish science fiction and to join the Science Fiction Writers of America. He has appeared on countless radio and television programs in the mid-1990s hosted his own show on KTSM Radio in El Paso, Texas. To prove that he hasn't been stuck in a rut, he has written books about UFOs, science fiction, action adventure and even a vampire novel called, cleverly, VAMPYR. I read this when I was in the service in Germany. I loved this book ! I finally found it after years of searching ! I had forgotten the title and Author but remembered Aldebaran. This book is very graphic in its violence and the characters and story are interesting. The hero comes upon a world that has been visited by aliens, who have killed the colonists, and have been slowly skinning them alive for the pleasure and eating them ! Good book ! I gave it 5 stars because few books have really gripped me to my seat like this one.

I read this years ago but its still one of the best military sci-fi action books out there. The 1st and 3rd fell way short of this little gem.
A must read for those out there who like great sci-fi military action!!
