This product did exactly what I needed it to do. I used it to hem 2 pairs of jeans and it worked great. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent adhesive. We use it to glue felt onto wood. So far it has been the best we have found and provides the best hold

This is absolutely my new favorite Aleene's glue! I know that I can depend on it to hem a pair of jeans, add lace or trim to a blouse, or to add gems or buttons on a fashion accessory. It's great for me, because I'm almost always in a hurry, and I don't want to sit around waiting for glue to dry. I'm a gal that loves glue, and this one is fabulous!

I used this to glue patches on my daughter's Daisy Scout uniform. I used a reasonable amount of glue, weighted them down, put them on a previously laundered garment, and waited a couple of days before even moving the tunic. Half fell off the first day. One is now lost. I guess I will sew them on. :(

I used this tape to hem some IKEA curtains, because I'm lazy. Pros: It's sticky, it sticks to cloth well, it's far better than any glue I've used, and it doesn't muck up the cloth with wetness and nastiness. Cons: It's sticky, so you have to be -REALLY REALLY- careful about how you use it. I think I'd have liked it better if both sides of the tape had film on them, such that I could've cut out pieces to do my hems in smaller bunches. Overall, a pretty good product... but it doesn't save as much time over using machine as I hoped it would. You still have to iron out your piecework, you still have to cut carefully and accurately, you still have to pin. It's not a panacea, but it's not damned bad.

My jeans wear out at the pocket corners. I use a scrap piece of cloth around the hole( on the inside). Then use the frayed thread mixed with the glue to finish the outside.

I used this adhesive on a patchwork block that had been made in the 1930's but recently quilted and had a particular fabric in one of the scrap blocks that was beginning to fray. I glued the frayed strands of fabric to the batting underneath and glued the intact fabric around the area. I placed a small amount of the glue on a piece of paper and used a pin dipped in the glue in order to get a finer amount of glue to work with. It worked great and the patch does not look at all as though it shredded slightly. Also, no discoloration on the fabric from the glue. My heart had initially sunk when I saw the shredded patch; the glue helped buoy my heart up.

I want to also note that this was used on a wall-hanging, so I am unable to vouch for what would happen on a bed quilt that gets any use and must be washed.

This stuff works great, but you might want to go easy with the stuff until you are familiar with how it works. I globbed some of the fusion adhesive on a pair of pants I needed to hem and now it's all stiff on the bottom--I mean REALLY stiff. That's my fault, of course, for going with the idea of a little is good than a lot is better. This sure does save time on putting boy scout patches on.

Bought this to use on kids jeans. I cut up an old pare as a patch and used this adhesive to glue the "patch" on the inside of kids jeans. Keep in mind they already had holes. Adheasive holds the material very well. Kids wore jeans and nothing came off, even the hole did not open. Great solution to patch up kids jeans. I used to waste money on iron-on patches which came off after one wear and one wash. This holds awesome. Just washed the jeans, still all in tacked. SO happy I found this and sad I dint do it earlier. I even shortened my own jeans with this adheasive. Great solution!!!!
