I used this to repair a ring (the gemstone had fallen out) and it seems to be holding well. You may want to wear disposable gloves while using this, I accidentally got some glue on my fingernail and the glue stayed there until the nail grew out.

Glue leaves a white residue.

Maybe I'm not using it right .... ?

I hate to give a 1 star review, but this glue leaves a white caulk-like residue on my glass, metal and jewelry pieces. I have had to 'scratch' several designs after using this .... After completing and mounting a shadow box consisting of glass, metal & stones, the glue left a white residue again. I will not be using it again. It is super glue in every sense of the word - just haven't found it's right for my purposes ... again, the problem is with the non-invisible quality of this product. It leaves white spots on glass, metal and Jewelry. I NEED a glue that dries CLEAR on glass, metal and jewelry. If I'm using it incorrectly, I will gladly remove the 1 STAR rating. I'm wondering why all the great & grand reviews unless

I AM (maybe) not using it right? Who cares anyway, right.

I ordered this to fix some jewelery, worked first time and then the cap totally jammed and I could not open it again, had to poke the tube to get glue out and stick it with cello tape after use, also it is almost a super glue, very hard on skin , so DONOT use it with bare hands, strong on eyes and nose , so maintain distance.
