Alejandro was one of my favorites from Fame Monster, and I had looked forward to the remix treatment. I gave this 4 stars: If every track was as good as most of them, I'd give it a 5. My favorites are #2 and #4: The production quality, i.e., the "sound", on Rusko's treatment is outstanding, when so many remixers seem to have ears made of tin. And the Skrillex mix; well, he's in a class by himself, and this one did not disappoint.

"Alejandro" is easily one of my favorite tracks off the Fame Monster album, and with its heavy-hitting dancefloor potential, I certainly hoped it would eventually get the remix treatment.

I'm very glad it did. While with so many remixes, some are guaranteed to be misses, I feel that with this song, not much can go wrong. My personal favorite here is the Skrillex mix, which takes the song to a whole new dancefloor bust-a-move level. While I wish some of the mixes were more thought out (eg; Latin influences...?), there's something for everyone.

Let's hope Dance In The Dark is next up for remix treatment. :-)

This is a beautiful picture vinyl of one of the best songs of The Fame: Monster. The image quality is far superior to what is shown on Amazon and both sides of the record feature distinct and beautiful pictures. It is enclosed in a transparent sleeve which allows the picture vinyl to show itself off. It will be great looking on your wall and great sounding in your record player.
