5.0 out of 5 stars Nice chair
This chair is comfortable but not without its quirks.

No extra tools are required to assemble it, just a bit of elbow grease--a two man job but doable with one. The cushion is quite comfortable (although I could see it getting hard to clean) and everything adjusts, but the height of the backrest is a bit tricky since if you raise it too much it falls all the...

2.0 out of 5 stars Could be much better.
I've had this chair for 2 years. After just under one year the seat cushion had lost its comfort and I put my own cushions on it. Just over a year the arm rests started coming apart on both sides. Now 2 years old it's destined for the landfill. When new it was a great chair, comfortable and cool but, I think a chair should last longer than a year before it starts...

This chair is comfortable but not without its quirks.

No extra tools are required to assemble it, just a bit of elbow grease--a two man job but doable with one. The cushion is quite comfortable (although I could see it getting hard to clean) and everything adjusts, but the height of the backrest is a bit tricky since if you raise it too much it falls all the way back down. Once you set it though it stays fine and I haven't made any adjustments in over a month. The wheels are a substantial improvement over my old chair.

Aesthetically speaking, the backrest has a pretty big chunk in the back that is a bit odd looking but from the front this chair looks very sharp. Definitely a plus if your desk is facing a door, executive or secretary style.

I would recommend this chair in any office or desk setting, at least in this price range. Sure, you can do better, but it will cost more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent chair, January 26, 2011

Easy to set up and generally comfortable. The build quality seems decent thus far. The seat cushion is quite comfortable, and the mesh allows the lower limbs and back to breathe. I do wish that the depth was more adjustable, but that's a minor concern (the way it's set up, there are two sets of screw holes for attaching the backing, so there's somewhat of a choice in seat depth during assembly).

Most people don't buy new furniture annually and if my socks can make it further than that for pennies, this chair for hundreds had better.

Hands down, this chair is worth the money, very affordable for what you get. I am 6'2 and this chair goes farther up than even I need it to go which is great. You can adjust the arms, back height, tilt back and tightness/loosness, and you can also lock it into place.

I bought a $300 desk chair from cost-co at my last apartment and it was ok, this is probably even better for what you get, good comfort, good positioning, good maneuverability. I am surprised this char didn't have more reviews compared to other chairs sold on amazon for a similar price. I trusted my guy in buying this with few reviews and am glad I did. I'll try to upload some pics to show the details later.

If you're looking for a good affordable desk chair, don't overlook this one, it doesn't have many reviews but its just as good or in my opinion better than those I've seen reviewed on amazon for similar prices.
