I bought this chair for my Wife to replace her pleather low=-back chair.

I must admit that from the picture, we thought it was a "purple-ish" chair, but upon receiving (and reading the description) it's certainly a brown leather chair.

The chair was very easy to assemble and came with all parts and tools necessary to do so, as well as instructions. It took less than 20 minutes to unpack assemble and only a few more minutes to get the "settings" right and comfy.

All in all, this is a very comfortable chair. The padding is very adequate and i don't notice the adjustment screw under the seat cushion like i often do. The arms are at the perfect height and have good, comfortable support. The very high back makes this chair a real winner, too. One thing i did not expect but was pleasantly surprised was that this chair has a very generous width to accommodate even crossed-leg style sitting -- not very ergo, i know, but who's telling the ergo-police??

The chair enjoys all of the adjustments you can expect and provides nice lumbar support.The plastic base is typical of these types of chairs and doesn't exceed or fall below my expectations. It is quite stable and i didn't feel i was going to fall over in my initial tests.

Conclusion: It's not a Hermann-Miller chair, but for $800 less, you can enjoy a very comfortable chair for a very comfortable price. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a good chair at a good price!

It's a very sound chair for the price. Assembled it in nothing flat following directions that have only graphics - very few words. It only took me 15 minutes and everything was easy - I put the arms on upsidedown but that was easy to correct. The screws go into metal threaded receptors so you don't have to worry about stripping any threads. I came with clearly labeled screws (color coded) and an allen key that is the only tool needed to assemble.

The leather is a dark-brown with very little red in it (can't tell from the picture). You don't get a lot of adjustments - the height goes easily from moderately short to pretty tall and it is generous in width but you can't adjust the distance of the back or lumbar support. The seat is generously wide and the padding is firm rather than "cushy" but it'll probably last longer that way. You can supposedly relax backwards but when I recline it takes some effort to stay that way - the normal position is fairly upright. I bought it for a chair to work at so that's okay for me.

So for the price ($122 with free shipping) it is a good chair for me - sturdy, easy to assemble, looks pretty good, will not accumulate dog hair.

I bought this chair for my home office because I was looking for something casual, stylish, comfortable, and compact. I have to say it meets all of the above mentioned descriptions. Although it may seem a little stiff and hard at first, you still feel comfortable and with good posture to study.

It was good for a month or so and the price was great but the seat cushion is now sagging with no support so it's not as comfortable as it was. You get what you pay for I suppose. Now I need to think about seat cushion support. :(

After a horrible buying experience from another company where I waited 5 days for my chair to ship (even though they had taken my money on day #1) I canceled my order with that company and I saw this chair on Amazon (where I should have shopped at first) and it was just what I wanted.

Well, I ordered this chair from Shoplet on Wednesday evening and my chair arrived on Friday by FedEx!!! Needless to say, I was thrilled and when I opened the package, I was even more happy. The chair is a beautiful dark chocolate brown and is very supportive and comfortable. I have a bad back and this chair feels wonderful!!! Shoplet did a wonderful job in shipping faster than anyone could have expected. I am VERY PLEASED with my new chair and with Shoplet for a great deal.

Also, the chair is EXTREMELY EASY to put together. FYI the arm rests are very high and, thus, the chair might not push fully under a desk (it doesn't go under mine fully, but who cares!). This is a minor annoyance that in no way takes away from my love of this chair, but just thought I would mention it.

I bought this chair over a year ago. The leather is nice, I condition it with leather conditioner. The structure is solid, I am not that heavy. However, the foam padding, over time, has compressed and doesn't rebound to a thick, full pad anymore. It took months to deteriorate, but it has. I wish I had bought a chair built with some better foam. I'm not even sure how to tell such a thing from an ad or product specs.......

It seems like others like this chair quite a bit. It is fairly good looking but lacks adjustable lumbar support and the angle on the seat can only be "free" or locked into one position. Also if you have a relatively high desk and the seat is placed in a relatively high position the long length of the seat makes it hard for your knees to bent and this creates more strain on your lower back. I am 5'11" and The feel of the material is good but the length of the seat and the lack of adjustability of the lumbar area make this chair uncomfortable. If you have never had a back problem this chair may be fine for you ould return this if it wasn't such a hassle.

Easy to assemble. The chair is a dark brown with black plastic, not a red/purple as it might look on your screen. Good chair for a desk, not perfect for lounging/slouching in but still comfortable. Everything has really already been said. On par with every other $150 chair of similar design, comes with one spare screw for each size just in case.

I bought this for work, I needed something to cushion my tailbone - I fractured it a while back and am now pregnant so it makes it hurt. This chair was a little hard at first but once broke in it is perfect. Nice and cushy and very comfortable. It is wide enough that I can sit indian style which I love, it looks very nice and has a great leather smell to it. Amazing product at a great price!

I bought this chair after reading other reviews. I ordered it on a Sunday night and it was delivered on Tuesday afternee. It was purchased from Amazon through Discount Office Items for $155 delivered. I checked office max and they were selling the same chair for $299. Assembly was pretty simple..30 mins even with the poor instuction that came in the box. The chiars sits well and is very comfortable.
