This chair is perfect for our needs. Our computer is in our living room, due to lack of space, the chair looks good with the other furniture. The chair also works well, easy to assemble and I love the adjustable height. The color on the screen makes the chair look purple, but it is a dark brown color. Would recommend this chair to everyone looking for a sturdy chair that looks good too.

I just received this chair from UPS. I actually openned the box and took the pieces out, decided I had received a black chair in error. I went back to my office and went through the process of getting a return authorization from UPS then went back to make sure the parts were back in the box correctly. I took everything over to a window, more for warmth than light and under the bright sunlight discovered that it is a brown chair, a REALLY DARK brown chair. So - I'm now trying to decide whether or not I keep this chair although it is too dark for what I wanted or continue through the process of getting it returned to the supplier. On the plus side, the supplier's customer service representative was very easy to work with, very pleasant and quickly gave me a UPS return authorization code.

If you like DARK BROWN, you will probably like this chair.

This chair is not made of real leather as advertised, it has a very strong scent of vinyl. I got it for my home office, sent it back right away because I don't think that it is safe to breath these chemicals in a small room. Could be a real leather for the price or at least a hint that it's a synthetic material. I highly recommend that you do not buy this chair if you are looking for a real leather chair, the smell is so horrible that it's almost not bearable.

The product features include "Tailored seat and back with top-grain leather upholstery". This is not true. My apartment now smells like vinyl, or a chemical, others have noticed. So the item is not as described and not as pictured. The picture shows a light brown but the chair is a black/brown. Nowhere in the description is that disclosed. It was difficult for me to put together so I called for help and was disconnected even before I could ask my first question.
Since this was a $439.00 chair discounted to $158 I had expected something nice but was disappointed.
The holes on one side of the chair for the arm attachment did not line up for one thing and I cannot get the tilt mechanism to work.
I am wondering since this item has a 2 year warranty am I expected to keep the big box that it came in, in my little bitty apartment for the 2 years because the directions said returns should be in original packaging. I can break down the box of course but wonder about "original packing". My daughter bought a $59.00 (yes $59. NOT $159) chair from Biz Chair which needed two replacement parts. However if those parts would not have solved the problem they were going to send someone out to pick up the chair at no cost to her. BIZ CHAIR said nothing about putting it in an original box and buyer bearing the expense of a return. Hindsight is always 20/20. Also, I did just find out I would have to pay a restocking fee to return a chair that is not as described and not as pictured.
Sellers at Amazon should be required to check their own advertisements and make sure they are as described and as pictured. Sellers count on buyers not wanting to bear the burden and expense of returning items and just putting up with "whatever". Profit before people.
One Final Thought: The chair is sturdy enough and looks good enough (if I could just get that tilt mechanism to work) that if the description would have been honest in stating - FAUX Leather and DARK Brown - THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. Nothing annoys me more that receiving an item that I have paid good money for that is NOT as pictured and NOT as described.

I bought a cheap computer desk chair about 5 years ago that fell apart on me. I was looking for a better one anyway. I called them up just to confirm that I had to press with all my might in order to attach the back to the seat. But somehow I managed without stripping the screws. Despite all this I forgot all about it when I sat down. The chair is really comfortable, though it would be nice if I could lean back once in a while.

twenty words long: this chair is leather and feels good when i sit in it; it was shipped in expected time; i have nothing to show any reason for disappointment, so buy this chair if you want a leather one.

After searching for weeks for a home office chair, I found a picture of this chair (online)at one of the national office supply stores. Of course, my local store didn't carry this chair in stock. Lucky for me , as it turns out, I found it online at Amazon for half the price. I was a bit apprehensive purchasing a chair that I had not seen, but I can testify that this is a great looking, well built, comfortable chair.
