Aleratec DVD/CD Shredder Plus Strip Cut--Shreds DVDs, CDs, and Credit Cards

While cleaning out old office stuff, I found a load of old backup cd's. Our shredder is older and can only handle paper (not even staples). I got this shredder for the cd's and a few credit cards (and so I got the new one for MY office). I am absolutly thrilled with this device. This thing chews through disks, cards and paper like nothing. I was going around finding old disks just to run through it.

The only drawback I have found is the small size of the hopper. After a few minutes of giving it a workout, the hopper is full. Emptying is a breeze, but one would just have to get in the habit of emptying it quite a lot.

Well it is all they say it is. However, do not be like me and let the picture fool you. It looks like an average paper shredder in the picture, but it is very small in size. Check the demensions 10 x 9 x 13 inches; 10 pounds. I was real shocked to see how small it is. Its my own fault.

Anyway, it works well and I needed something to shred CD's and it is very good at it.

I will need to buy another shredder to shread office documents, this will do it, but the bin is too small for paper.

nice item waste part of it the basket is really smart wish it was bigger i find myself emptying it alot more then before but i love the product!!

I like how it is quick and does the job. However, I dislike the size of the basket, and how the size of the shredder forces you to fold paper, and make sure it is small enough to go in through half the size of a normal one. I would not have bought this if I had known that, but it is a decent shredder if you look pass the size of the basket and the top.
