Pasta Set is, simply, a homage to pasta. Morozzi showed us the project in 1982. The shape of the object was attractive and yet mysterious. We organized a survey: roughly half of those interviewed did not realize it was a saucepan for boiling water, and came up with all kinds of interpretations. Nevertheless, we decided to manufacture it, and that was a sound decision. Pasta Set has become so popular that it has had a profound influence on the market, winning the Gold Medal in 1986 at the Ljubljana Bio 11, and spawning at least a hundred imitators the world over. The project continued with Vapor-set (1990) designed for steam cooking.
