For everyone interested in purchasing this fruit squeezer, it is important to be aware that it is not intended to actually squeeze fruit with... it's a fascinating decorative object for your kitchen.

So don't buy this product if you like fruit juice, but certainly do buy it if you like design... personally I love it.

Salif squeezer: this is a neat metal sculpture, a piece of art, that stands by itself and not really the juicer you want to heavy use if you make money with a lemonade stand.You can buy at your local store a cheap, electric squeezer than works 10 times faster, but this piece is not an ordinary citrus squeezer. It is a beautifully crafted object, a design absolutely unique, and 110% a great piece of conversation that must not be concealed in a cabinet... it has to be exposed on the counter, or anywhere, as I said... has identity and it stands by itself! The Salif is a perfect piece of design sculpture but the advantages stop there, the product should not really be allowed in a kitchen due to the difficulty that it creates. If you want to make a design statement buy this, if you want to buy a juicer put your money away.

One of the great design icons of the 20th century. Simple in a way, yet very original... You can put it in your living room as a piece of art, or just use it.

The Salif is quite possibly the worst juicers in the vast History of Juicers it lacks in practicality and it sickens me that the Salif has the accolade of a design classic.

i was very very ridiculously excited when i ordered my juicy salif, but there was disapointment when it hit my doorstep. absolute Rubish!!! i thought it was going to be packed with features, it has nothing useful, and it looks awful aswell, doesnt look anything like in the picture not at all! i am going to tell phillip starke how rubish the juicy salif really is, then i will have it melted down and turned into a cheese grater!
