This is another visually appealing holder from Alessi. It is too much fun. There is a design flaw though, the cup holding the swabs does not have enough weight to keep it on the counter when you pull up the head for a Q-tip... and the swabs certainly don't have any weight at all. So it becomes a two hand effort, not as convenient as it could be. The surprise is that it has a little male member, revealed when you pull up the little guy. I guess that's the Pisellino part.

While this is still a cute q-tip holder, the orange is much brighter than the soft orange it appears in the photo. Loading this with q-tips is a little tricky.

This is a great Q-tip holder! There is also a little "suprise" inside. Super cute, and makes a great addition to our bathrom. I love Alessi designs, and this one does not disappoint!

Super charming. My design-oriented husband loved it. There is a little surprise on the body of the creature when you open it up! The cup is a very light grey, not white. Nice color (we got green). Overall, great addition to our bathroom. Cheers us up every morning.

I love Alessi! This Q-Tip holder is gorgeous and functional. I have it in blue already and wanted another one for the second bathroom.

As is typical of Alessi products, this is a whimsical take on an otherwise dull household item. This Q-Tip holder added a spot of fun to our bathroom. It's well made and functional - doesn't hold a ton of swabs, but enough to last for a few weeks between refills. As other reviewers have noted, he is slightly "anatomical" when you lift him up - nothing obscene, it's just there - so keep that in mind if you're buying it as a gift or something.
