I looked EVERYWHERE trying to find a metal cook set for my 3-year old daughter. I was excited to find this one--and VERY disappointed when it arrived. The metal is so thin that if my 18-month old falls on it (as I'm sure he will!) it will dent and bend and go right to the trash can. I would DEFINATELY not buy this brand again.

Do not order this item unless you would like your child's dolls to use it, becaue the cookware is so small that your child will not get much enjoyment from it. It does not even fit my daughter's miniture playfood.

Good cook set for a small child and/or smaller kitchen,
This review is from: Alex Completer Cook, 9 piece set (Toy)
I just purchased this cook set when I ordered my daughter's kitchen from The Land of Nod (it's exactly the same price at The Land of Nod.) It is definitely on the smaller side of most of the sets I considered, but works very well for my daugher who is only 15 months old and 19 pounds. The scale is also perfect for the Land of Nod kitchen which is also slightly on the smaller side. The pots and pans are no more flimsy than any of the other sets I have seen, although my daughter doesn't really play very roughly with her toys. The exception would be the measuring spoons in the set which my daughter pulled apart on the very first day. The spoons are the only piece in the set made of plastic and the ring that holds them together is very thin. Since a couple of the spoons are smaller, they could pose a choking hazard if they become disconnected from the ring. As far as play food is concerned, the size is perfect for the Melissa & Doug "Food Groups" set, but would definitely be too small for sets such as the "Play Food Set" and "Cutting Food Box" which are of a much larger scale. You would need to purchase a larger set of pots and pans if you mostly own the larger scale foods. Overall, this is a good set but only for a younger/smaller child.
