I bought this for my niece for her birthday now I need to get one for my son they fight over it constantly. It gives them a place to do their crafts and homework. It is great to bring outside on a nice day to paint, practice writing on the chlk board, or to do a worksheet for school. It is so easy to clean and it is very sturdy. They even use it to sit and watch TV. When my nefews come over they love to use it also. I have purchased two other desks for my kids in the past, this is by far the best for space and versitility.

I have a 3 year old son who has autism. This desk makes it so much easier for his therapists to work with him. It is also very sturdy and appealing to a little one's eye. Plus, you can install the desk top the opposite way for lefties! Trust me, you and your child will love this desk.

This table is fantastic! Words cannot describe how wonderful it is. Well worth the $ we spent on it. I bought it for both of my children who are 3 and 7 for use at their Grandmother's house. They love it. Of course, they fight over who will be able to use it. I may have to buy another! :) Very easy to assemble, very colorful, and very wonderful. You can even assemble it for right or left handers! My mother loved this so much, that she bought two for my brother and his 3 children...one is assembled for their left handed daughter, and the other for their other 2 right handed daughters. The storage spot underneath is great, and the kids love the little tray on the side for their crayons or colored pencils. It even has a cup for crayons, but my children use this as a drink holder. It's great. I would recommend this to all.

My father bought this desk for my son's 3rd birthday last year. He eats at it, colors on it, sits at it to watch tv, etc. It gets use every single day. My now almost 2 year old daughter uses it also for the same things. They've gotten to where they BOTH want it at the same time so we're going to have to get another one. It's great b/c it easily fits almost anywhere, is very sturdy, and very attractive. We get compliments on it everytime people come over. You can't go wrong with this desk!!!!

I had researched a lot of different desk products by Alex and decided on this one, primarily because of the other reviews I had read which rated it very highly. I'm glad that I did.

My 20 month old got this for Christmas and has used it almost every day since. It is sturdy, attractive and versatile! It is also very easy to assemble.

The reasons I did not give this item 5 stars are:

1. The desk is made from pressboard/particle board - no suprise, but a couple of the main pieces arrived with corners that were damaged. It didn't effect its fuctionality, however, I would have prefered, of course, if it wasn't damaged in any way.

2. The canvas bag that hangs on the back of the chair is very thin and doesn't hold much. Also, the way that it is sewn makes it difficult to get into because of the tension.

3. I sort of wish that the under-chair shelf had a back on it so that the items placed on it couldn't get pushed out the back and just end up on the floor.

Other than the above mentioned issues, we really love this desk and would recommend its purchase to any one who has a toddler!

This chair is awesome. I was ready to get away from the shared picnic table seats for my 2 year old twins and provide something a little more independent of eachother. They LOVE these desks. The storage below is great and they are pretty sturdy for my still curious acrobats. After having it two weeks, I have noticed paint chipping off which I think is a bit premature, but other than that, it was easy for the hubby to put together and they love it.

A few years ago I was searching for a long time for just the right desk for our 3 year old. I found this one on Amazon and decided to take a chance. Well, he is almost six now and uses it every day! It is very sturdy, easy to clean and has lasted through some major growth. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in this age range.

This was an outstanding buy! My son, who just turned two years old, has managed to turn all of his toys into pieces of jungle gym equipment. He climbs, stands on, jumps off and carries EVERYTHING! This desk has allowed me to see a calmer side of my son. It is extremely sturdy and well built, unlike a lot of children's desks I had been looking at. He hasn't figured out a way to harm himself with this desk. I found the desk very easy to put together, and a nice feature was that it can be made for either a left or right handed child. I love the bright colors and the hanging bag and shelf under the chair. The cup for crayons is a nice thought, but my son could take or leave it. My son loves his desk, and has recently insisted on eating his lunch on it instead of his high chair. I would definitely buy again!

VERY sturdy....marvelously so!! Great for playing school, dravving, painting...all sorts of things!! My (...)neice and nephevv, (...) all enjoy and it's in as good condition today as it vvas a year ago vvhen he got it!! Ours didn't come vvith the pencil cup holder, but that's the only problem I came across,and I just simply found another cup to put in instead. Actually, my son loves to put his drink cup in there vvhile he uses the desk so it's out of his vvay!

This desk has been the BEST purchase by far we've made for our little boy. We discovered it a year ago at Sam's Club where we paid just $35 for it. It would have been way out of our budget had I purchased it here, but if you can afford the $70+ price tag and can't find it elsewhere for less, I think you'll still find it worth the higher price.

Our son was 4 when we bought this desk; now he's five. I'd say it's best suited for an average-sized 4 to 6 year old. Depending on your child's size, it could also be appropriate for a 3 or 7 year old.

The desk was easy to assemble and the finish has stayed free of chips and scratches despite 12 months of heavy, daily use. It's where our little guy draws, does crafts, practices writing, eats snacks, watches TV, plays with Legos, and more.

Having this desk has also been a huge help in keeping our house tidier. The shelf below the seat holds our son's Lego storage bin, while the pocket on the seat's back corrals scrap paper for drawing. Now instead of piling up on the kitchen counter, my husband and I immediately put our scrap paper in this pocket as soon as it's generated.

These storage spaces also help our son be more independent and tidy, as his two favorite things (paper and Legos) are right at his desk where he can best manage, reach, and use them. The removable desktop cup is wonderful, too, for holding crayons & other craft stuff.

If you want to serve your child snacks at his desk, you can remove the crayon cup and replace it with a similarly-sized drinking cup. Setting the cup in the tabletop's pre-drilled hole keeps it secure, so your little one is much less likely to accidentally tip it over.

If you have more than one small child, you better buy more than one of these desks, because it's going the most coveted seat in the house.
