More About the Author
Started writing comic books back in 1983 and been at it ever since. Have written over 500 hundred comic scripts. Started Airship 27 Productions three years ago to write, edit and produce new pulp novels and anthologies. My own work can also be found in Moonstone Books pulp anthologies as well. Rest of my day is spent spoiling the hell out of my six grand kids. Oh, and the five kids aren't too bad either. Hope people who read my stuff have fun with it.

different but good,

burning earth is a story about the future briefily shown in the begining of the movie and during flash backs and dreams. it is the story of a middle aged john conner and his rebel band out to destroy skynet the master computer behind the terminators. a good storie that stays true to the first movie but of course it couldnt happen after the events of the second.

I became a fan of a then Alexander Ross when I picked up issue 2 of this series way back in the 80s. It featured Cindy Crawford on the cover as an homage to the original Terminator movie poster. I remember being wowed by the photo realistic depiction, then realizing it was a painting. When I started reading, it just took me away. THIS is how the Terminator movie with Christian Bale should have been, with John Connor smashing Skynet. In any case, when compared to Ross' work now, it is a bit rough, butbwe all have to start somewhere. This is a fascinating glimpse into an artisi's earlynwork and his evolution. It would be a few more years before he made the hit Marvels that started him down the path to comic book stardom. But this is the "I knew him when..." piece. If you are like me, read it again and relive the pleasure of this new discovery. If you know Alex by his later work, check this out to see where he was and where he ended up now.

I was eagerly awaiting for this comic,since I m big fan of Alex Ross and the movie "Terminator 2",so a combination of 2 of my favourite topics would be great.It was a mixed feeling of sorts,happy to see the work of an "upcoming artist",but kind of let down by his earlier work as compared to his "legendary" works in "Marvels" and "Justice"
