Sturdily constructed from wood, this traditional Punch and Judy puppet theatre requires no tools for assembly. The roof features a colorful clock with movable hands so you can let people know when to expect the yellow curtain to be drawn back for the next show. You can also write the time, or other relevant information, on the chalkboard panel just below the stage. The facade is held in a vertical position with simple red wooden feet. My husband and I searched high and low for a puppet theater for our 6 year old daughter as a Christmas present, that was the one large gift she asked for. Everyone is on a budget these days and we were seeking the best quality at the best price, wow did we find it! At the time I purchased this product it was on clearance for $41.00 with free shipping. SOLD!!!!! Well Christmas morning came and in addition to this she had received many puppets she opened before so her eyes lit up when she opened this last and she demands my husband set it up immediately! lol He did (which was very simple btw) and it thrilled me to see the superb quality, bright colors, and sturdy construction. The theater continues to be her favorite activity and she will put on shows for us for hours on end. If you are searching a puppet theater for your little one I definitely suggest you purchase this one, you won't be disappointed!

Puppet theater is cute, however I wish I had purchased the Melissa and Doug puppet theater. We cannot write on chalkboard, even after spending a great deal of time trying to "season" the board. The Melissa and Doug puppet theater gives kids more of a hidden puppet play space, which this theater does not offer. The clock on the theater fell apart after a couple weeks as well, although we fixed it. This theater does offer a play "ledge" which the kids enjoy, however think twice before ordering this over another product.

My clients have enjoyed this theater...they do wish that the curtains would open by pulling this string instead of using the strings as tie backs.
