4.0 out of 5 stars Changing Trick
We hung this mobile over our sons changing table. He LOVES IT--a real life saver when he gets the wiggles. Only complaint is the mobile is not balanced, and the strings are glued in place, so we can't adjust. He doesn't care, but it drives me crazy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, but a little flimsy
It was fun to decorate the butterflys and dragonflys, but the strings were really tangled and easily broken.
I had to cut the strings apart to get them untangled and re-tie them before putting it up in my daughters room. It was a little more involved that I would have liked, but the end result is beautiful and my daughters 3rd word was BUTTERFLY. You can't beat...

I had fun assembling this mobile. My 9-month old baby enjoys watching the butterflies and dragonflies spin above her changing table. I have received compliments on this mobile from friends. The pieces come all attached which makes decorating them a little challenging. Oh, and the glue is very easy to smear while you are working on it. I had to decorate one butterfly at a time and then wait several hours for the glitter-glue to dry before working on the next one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a great craft, February 16, 2011

The mobile comes assembled and the only thing to do with it is decorate the butterflies with glitter glue and sticker gems - which is fine, but my kids (ages 5 and 6) even commented that there wasn't much to do. It came with 4 *small* tubes of glitter glue, not enough in my daughters' opinions. Luckily we had some more at home to finish the decorating. Some of the butterflies are strung upside down, as the prettier side faces the ceiling. The real problem with this toy though is that the strings get all tangled and it is pretty annoying to untangle - in retrospect I should have untied them and then restrung them. It is also difficult to get the mobile to balance properly - the strings slide on the metal bars making it lopsided. Another pointer if you do this craft - we laid ours out on newspaper and the glue goes right through the sheer fabric, so the butterflies ended up sticking to the newspaper. Not a great craft, but my daughters think the mobiles are pretty.

This mobile is pretty and can be fun if you have the time. It was kinda hard and messy to decorate and even harder to hang up. Every time you touch it it would fall out of balance and the mobile would fall over to one side. What I had to do was cut some of the string shorter and glue the strings into place so they wouldn't keep sliding back and forth and becoming unbalanced.

This is a cute mobile, I have it over my daughter's bed. My problem was I thought the butterflies & dragonflies were going to be bigger & the glitter glue was alittle hard to work with. Cute idea though.
