Buy an extra bungee cord,

My 3 1/2 and 20 month old LOVE this! They bounce everyday and both are well within the weight limit. The bungee (cord that holds the net to the frame) broke the first month. My husband managed to tie it back together and we have since had to tie it 3 times - bungee broke in 4 different spots total. We have run out of length to tie it this last time. My kids are heartbroken and we've only had this for 3 months! Great toy, but will break quickly...Apparently, a new bungee is $50! Deciding if $50 is worth 3 more months....

I got my trampoline in late March and within 3 weeks the mat tore on the side where the bungee cord goes through. I called customer service asking to buy a replacement mat and they had me send the whole trampoline back to them and they sent me a new one a few months later when it was back in stock. So far, there has been no tear and my son loves it (had it for 3 weeks now). He jumps on it at least once a day for five minutes to get his energy out. It's nice if you have the room for it and the legs fold under to easier storage (also the handle can come out). Set up was fine. I did it by myself and it took about 15 minutes from start to finish. When threading the bungee cord, keep the mat as centered as possible while you finish or one end will be closer to the side than the other. I put a bean bag in front of the trampoline because it is possible for your child to jump too high and almost flip over the top. It hasn't happened yet, but it has come close to happening. I'd recommend this toy to anyone. And, if you have any problems, don't hesitate to call customer service.

We bought this for our 2 year old son for Christmas and he has used it everyday since. He had a bounce house for his birthday party in October and had started bouncing on everything. He loves to bounce while he watches TV. It is great for rainy days when you can't go outside to burn off that extra toddler energy. It was also pretty easy for my husband and I to put together took about 30 minutes.

Ugh! We gave this to our 2-year-old for her birthday today, she jumped for a few hours, and it then we noticed a big rip in the mesh trampoline fabric. The rip was too close to the bungee cord/spring part so there was no salvaging it. I called customer service and he told us to disassemble and return it. Then we would receive a refund. There was no exchanging it, no sending out a new one immediately, nothing. We are extremely frustrated because now we have to tell our daughter that her new toy is gone (surely a catalyst for a big tantrum). I thought Alex was a good brand but from the reviews it sounds like this toy is trouble.

I decided to buy this toy for my two year old son so that he would have an active outlet for his energy on rain days and in the winter (we live in Minnesota so sometimes it is just too cold to go out). Set up of the trampoline only took about 15 minutes but I do highly recommend having two people do the set up. It is much easier to thread the bungee tight and even with two sets of hands.Once the toy was set up my son immediately started jumping on it. He enjoys the bouncing and it does give him a work out. Honestly he also enjoys just laying on the thing with some books or hiding under it like a fort. I'm giving this 4 stars for a few reasons. First, even though my son is very active, this toy doesn't hold his interest for terribly long. I'm not expecting a toy to work miracles with a toddler's short attention span, but he doesn't play with this for more than 5 minutes at a time and I was expecting more than that. The other issue I have is that sometimes I feel like the back of the trampoline lifts up a bit. My son is about 31 pounds so he is far below the weight limit, but bouncing near the front of the jumper makes the back not as stable as I would prefer. We've stabilized it as best we can, but I wish it was just a little more sturdy. Overall, this was a good purchase, especially for the price.

I have 4 sons, and the three younger boys LOVE this trampoline. The only bummer is, since it gets so much use, the bungee chord breaks every other month. The good thing is that if you contact the manufacturer, they will replace it for you at no charge. They actually respond to e-mails promptly, and care about their customers. So yes, the bungee chord WILL break on you, but you can get a free replacement from the manufacturer. If you have kids that are jumpers like mine, and you don't have a yard, then they'll love this. It should be noted this is really only intended for smaller children. If my 10 year old were to jump on this, it would probably break within a day or two, and if I put my big @$$ on it, it would probably dissolve. :)

We bought the trampoline from our 2 1/2 year old Grandson. Our son was able to put it together himself fairly easily. Our Grandson absolutley loves it. We spent 4 days with them, he jumped on it several times each day and we never had an issue of him falling off or hurting himself. He did, however fall off of the kitchen chair twice.

My 2 year old son loves jumping on this trampoline, but buyer beware, he only weighs 35 lbs. and this trampoline has already ripped. We chose this trampoline versus a different one because it had a limit of up to 80 lbs. We thought it would last longer than the 5 months we have owned it. I have sent Alex, the manufacturer a note about it, I hope that I get a better resolution than the other reviewers have had.

We bought this as a christmas present for our autistic 2 and half year old son and he loves it. He can jump for hours and not only does it support his weight but his twin sister's as well thought their both on the small side. But warning assembly is complicated and can be dangerous, you have to pull a bungee cord through and tie it and it can fly back and hurt. You'll definatly need 2 people. My advise is if your buying it for a gift assemble it ahead of time cuz it can take a while. Amazing toy though.

Gave this to my daughter on her 2nd birthday. She has milk hypotonia of her lower extremities and is just a bit delayed in gross motor skills. We thought jumping would help strengthen her legs. It took about 45 minutes for hubby and I to put together. Two people are needed for assembly so one can kneel on the mesh square and keep it centered while the other threads the bungee cord through the loops and around the frame. The handle is removable and the legs pop out and fold away so it can be easily stored against a wall or under a bed. Our daughter doesn't quite jump on it, rather she bounces. She is 25 pounds and we have not had any problem with it lifting off the floor. She has had it for 2 days and gets on and off it, using it for 30 seconds-2 minutes at a time. I think this toy will become even more popular when she learns to jump. It's great to have on a rainy day.
