My husband and I sat with my almost 3yr old son a few minutes each night over the holiday and made the ornaments that go on the ribbon string provided. Although you could by a bunch a felt and do it all from scratch, having everything pre-cut, and pre-packages is a real time saver.The pieces are self stick so no glue is needed(making it mess free).Is also great if you wanted to take it some where like a dr. office or restaurant to work on. There was only a few pieces that were not cut out easy enough for a toddler to release. The finished product is beautiful and def. something you would save to bring out year after year. There are presents, stockings, snowflakes, trees, ornaments, wreaths, and gingermen; a real holiday collection to display. The ribbon string is really long, about 11 feet, so you have a lot of play when deciding where to place it. Took us about 3 weeks to complete it, but that was unrushed and with a toddler. Love this set, can't wait to see what comes out for next year.

my 6yr old daughter enjoyed making this christmas craft. easy to assemble with the pre-sticky backs of each felt piece. she was able to do it all by herself. it kept her attention at assembling 2-3 at time and entertained her for about 20min. each shape is prepackaged with its accessories, which makes clean-up a lot easier!
