This made noise once, for the first basket, which was made by me as a test. It never consistently made noise again. It's a decent backboard for the bath but don't expect the bells and whistles to last.

I know a lot of parents are complaining about the number/noise malfunction and they are correct the sensor does seem to be malfunctioned in some way. When I opened the packaged I hit the net a few times and each time it scored I attached it to my daughter's bathe wall (water) and she shot the balls in and for a few shots it scored than after that didn't. When I turn the light on in her bathroom the score board goes off (funny)! However I'm not upset at this malfunction because the toy is very adorable, didn't cost much and my daughter gets a kick out of "bubblebathe basketball!" It's education in a sense you can teach your little one numbers (3) balls and colors as well as coordination. Plus she loves when I squirt water in her face from the b-balls. Aside from the score board malfunction (which is nothing to me) I love the toy, it's adorable!

We set this product up and within 4 minutes the suction cups slid down and the product got wet. Now the score board and sound do not work. Can a tub toy be made not to get wet? I checked the Alex's manufacturer's website assuming they would have tested the product and showed you how to fix it after it gets wet, but they don't even have instructions on the site. They just have a video of a child playing with it in the tub getting it all wet.

Score and sound which was the core differentiating feature for the price, were not working since the 1st. time at bath.

Balls adn quallity of the basketare good, but experience is diminish a toddler additional motivation

I purchased this toy for my grandson. It was shown to be a "bath" toy, but I do not think it ever made it into the bathtub! My grandson loves two things - water and balls and this toy combined the two so I thought it might be appreciated.

When this was opened on Christmas, of course he saw the balls and wanted them - and when his Daddy showed him how to make the cheering sound by putting the ball through the hoop-- well we had a winner! The backboard has suction cups so it adhered to the front of our tv cabinet and he played basketball for a week while visiting. It could easily be moved to the bathtub for tubby time as well.

This is not an "educational" toy - but it is fun - it helps with manual dexterity (grasping the balls and putting them in the hoop)!

It appears to be safe and easy to get up and going! ( A prime factor for Christmas morning!)

Don't expect the sensor to work that registers baskets, which is the most fun part of the toy. You might as well spend less money and get something without electronics for the tub. The suction cups are not great either. So disappointing that a toy co. would put out such a poorly designed product. I thought I got a defective toy but now know the truth!

The first one never made a sound and the display did not count the baskets. Returned it and the second one doesn't work either. We kept it and the kids play with it, but don't expect the sounds or display to work.

I bought this for my son and thought he would love it. It did not work from the time we got it out of the package. The sounds never worked and the suction cups would never stick to the wall. I am so upset about wasting my money on this product.

I got this toy for my son to practice hand eye coordination and he was really excited when he saw the box. We opened it immediately and started to play. He loved it, but the minute we transfered it to the bathroom and stuck it to the wall the sensor went out. I liked the number display to help with his counting and now that aspect is gone. Then I went to move it from one wall to another and the suction holder snapped off! This is a piece of junk.

This is a great toy; however, it should not be listed for water use. If you want it to last, don't put it in water! They should make it waterproof....electronics and water do not mix :)
