since getting it for her birthday, my daughter has not stopped fluttering around the house. she takes all of her stuffed animals and pretends that they are all in an enchanted forest. she loves the pretty music that her fairy wings make when she runs around. the wand, tiara and bracelets seem to make her really feel like a fairy. i love seeing her use her imagination with this toy.

The items are well made and look great close up.

The wand makes 2 noises - a short tinkle and a longer more typical 'magic wand' tinkle - depending on how long the button is pressed. Neither sound is annoying or too loud.

The wings are super cute and very well made. The noise-maker is attached to the back and enclosed in velveteen that matches the wings. When the child fist puts the wings on, all they need to do is tap the noise-aker. From then on, the noise-maker reacts to their movement. Quick, sudden movements like jumping create a short tinkly noise. Longer, more sustained movements like running across the floor make a noise that I can only describe as a musical sound of flying. They eventually turn off if the child stops running around.

The wrist/ankle cuffs are really cute, but I think they might be tight on older kids. The crown is really cute as well.

I love that this toy reacts to running around! My daughter is having a blast using her magic wand to turn the whole house into her fairy tale land. It is a nice toy that encourages movement and imagination.

My 5 year old niece hasn't stopped bugging me (and all our other family memebers) to get her this costume. It was in the imagination theater area of our local kids museum and she wouldn't take it off the entire time we were there. in an attempt to let others get a shot at wearing it, we bought her one for hannukah. now...can anyone point me in the direction of a good kids book on sharing?!?! :)

My 5 year old daughter loves this set. It is really pretty and the wings are well made. It makes a pretty sound when they move around the house like they are flying, so cute. (and not too loud or annoying)

the little ankle things were too small for her though, very tight but it doesn't matter, she just likes the wings.

Got this for my niece (birthday) a few years ago, and it was an instant hit. Had to get my other niece one a few months later for Christmas since she wore it the day of the party more than her cousin, who other toys and Disney dresses. I also got a "magic wand" with glitter and made tinkling wind chime sounds when it was moved around. They felt like a fairy princess.
