This Angelina Ballerina doll is beautifully made and a nice, large size for little girls to bring around. It is of nice quality and even washes well, as we found out after my daughter spilled juice all over her. The only thing I don't like as much are the positioning of the feet. I'm sure they're meant to be in a ballet position, but her left foot actually points too far backwards and looks twisted. This doesn't bother my daughter at all, though.

The outfit is not removable, nor are the shoes or bow. This helps greatly in not losing outfits anywhere around the house, but also limits what a girl can do with her doll. We found that Angelina fits into American Girl doll clothing (not the shoes), but you have to tuck her tutu underneath it. Still, it's another option.

The doll doesn't do anything or say anything, which we're quite happy about. We've had enough of noisy, active toys around here. It's nice to see my daughter using her imagination and talking to Angelina, then making her answer back. Therefore, as far as imaginative play, I'll give it three stars, but this is the type of toy that is meant to be enjoyed, not to be used as a learning tool necessarily.

I purchased this doll for my 4 year old niece who is in LOVE with Angelina Ballerina. Of all the gifts she received, this was the one present she couldn't put down. She was in love from the moment she saw it, and has since slept with the doll every night since she got it.

It's good sized, and great quality! Highly recommend for any Angelina Ballerina fan!

I bought this Angelina Ballerina for my niece who turned 6 years old. She loves watching Angelina at the Discovery Kids Cable channel and since we live in Chile we don't have toys or books of the this cartoon.
As soon as I opened the package I was very pleased and happy with my purchase! It's big, it has this cute face and a lovely ballerina tutu. The ballerina shoes are lovely. I don't agree with somebody who said it looks like a pig. She's just like the Angelina on TV.

Excellent package. It arrived in perfect condition. It is more beautiful than the ad, because it looks more like the TV character, super cute and soft, short plush is not cloth, as advertised. Thanks! My daughter will be very happy when she opened her Christmas present!

I shopped around before I bought this Angelina doll and it paid off. She is beautiful, great size, and is made well enough for my very active 3 year old ballerina to dance, toss and play with Angelina as her primary doll since her birthday 4 months ago. Even after all the Christmas toys, Angelina holds the the rank of favorite toy. She looks just like the show, her tutu is well made and beautiful with satin ribbon edging. She has a little trouble sitting up on her own on slippery surfaces, but I think she just needs a little more wearing in. I have not washed her yet, but I think in a lingerie bag on gentle cycle, she will do just fine. Highly recommend. Worth the price.

I got this doll for my two-year old's birthday. It was love at first sight. The doll looks exactly like the cartoon on TV. It is soft and elegant. 18 inches makes it big enough for a toddler to hug it, cuddle with it and dance with, perfect size for an active toddler. I don't know how it will stand to long term use, but the doll is so pretty and my daughter is enjoying it so much that the steep price tag seems well worth it. If my daughter wasn't so completely in love with Angelina Ballerina, maybe I would have gone for a cheaper version, but I am very pleased I chose this model. Great doll for a ballerina lover!

I received the 18 inch Angelina Ballerina cloth doll to review. She is such an adorable and well-made doll. The texture of her "skin" is quite soft and beautiful. She feels almost velvet-like. Angelina comes dressed in her signature pink tutu, which is a mix of satin and organza materials. Her darling ballet slippers and large satin bow are wonderful additions.

The size of this doll is perfect for my toddler. Standing at 18 inches, Angelina is more than half of my daughter's height. She is the perfect size for cuddling, dancing, and making memories with. Older children may be interested in the larger 39 inch doll.

My daughter got spaghetti sauce all over Angelina's leg. No need to worry, though. We spot-treated her leg, and all is well. Madame Alexander is known for creating well-made and beautiful dolls, and the Angelina Ballerina 18 inch doll is no exception.

Angelina Ballerina is a perfect size for little ones to haul around with them. She's sturdily made, adorably dressed, and soft and cuddly enough to take to bed.
