The perfect start to a collection.
This Fancy Nancy Doll is so pretty. My seven year old loves her and plays delicately with her. She is very lovely, but really not for young children. Since the books are for young children, it is a question of how ready your child is for a collectable doll.

The Fancy Nancy books are wonderful and when the first doll came out, I wanted to own her. I have several now and this one is just so cute. Outfit is made well as is the doll. I think it's every little girls dream to dress up and be a Fancy Nancy. She is willing to try her hand at just about anything from having a day spa to writing poetry, from trying to speak French (for French is sounds much more fancy) to going overboard in her attire. What a fun little girl Fancy Nancy is. What little girl wouldn't like to own her. She is sturdy enough for an older child to play with, but made well enough for a collector. If you know the Madame Alexander dolls, then you know quality is built in each doll. When purchasing the doll, I would highly recommend also purchasing the book to go along with her. What a fun afternoon for a mother or grandmother reading the story of Fancy Nancy. What an adorable role model for a younger child for her outlook on life is ALWAYS positive.
