This compilation CD is the only available edition of these two Mario Nascimbene costume drama soundtracks.
The soundtracks themselves are not the most inspired works of their genre, but they have their moments, and until they are offered in an extended form, this is your only option.The sound and transfer quality is fine for the era. This is a must have for sword and sandal or historical epic soundtrack collectors.

If you are a fan of soundtracks from epic movies this is one to add to your collection. Both soundtracks have that big, bold sounds common to the epics of the mid 1950s to mid 1960s. The sound quality is not the best, but it is decent and does not seriously detract from the enjoyment of the music.
