I had used these on my own router and was successful. So naturally when a friend asked what I recommended, I ordered these for them. They're not computer savvy and installed with no problem. Their WiFi signal is now successfully reaching areas on their property that were previously dead spots.

I got this product like 3 months ago to get a better signal at a room locate just in the opposite corner of my house about 60ft, separated for one block wall and 3 sheet rock walls. it helps improving the signal reliability because it used to "fall" every time we use the microwave oven. but the speed of connection didn't get any noticeable increase ???. I'm shopping now for a new "N" wireless router.

The antennas did work and increased my signal.. not much, but enough to reach my bathroom where I didn't have any signal at all... Note if your access point has two antennas make sure you change both..

before I installed the antenna i got 60% signal stregnth after i installed it I had 60 signal stregnth it did nothing

This antenna does not increase range or connectivity in any way. Brand name antennae work better no matter their size...size really doesn't matter! In short, don't waste your money on this product.

Update: I'm sorry not to be helpful to all who read my review...to be more specific, I have tried this antenna on 3 different devices without any noticeable difference in speed or signal strength. In fact, upon use on an internal wrt54g adapter card, the signal strength dropped. I then chose cisco brand antennae with definite improved signal range and reliability.
