These longer antennae improved the reception in my household about 10%. While it's not much, it was enough of a boost to take care of my problem. Be aware of the shipping costs for this inexpensive item; they cost almost as much as the antennae and for no reason,since they are basically sticks shipped by USPS in a large envelope. Finally, make sure you have the correct model before ordering. There are different types of jacks on the different router models and you need the ones that fit your router.

I bought these because I really like the 9dbi Alfa antenna that came with my ALfA AWUS036H wireless adapter. The antenna that came with my adapter looks exactly like the antenni depicted in the product picture. Unfortunately, the two antenni that I received are a cheap knockoff looking hard plastic that do not appear to be of the same quality as the original.

These completely resolved my connectivity issues. They are easy to install--simply unscrew the original antennae and screw these on. A much easier fix than the range expander that I still can't get up and running. Shipping was pricey but it was worth it to get the problem fixed. Very happy with the product and the results. Recommend trying these before spending a lot of money on other fixes.

The antennas are a smoking bargain. Bought here on Amazon. I have struggled with the stock antennas on my Linksys WRT-54 since I purchased. Be aware you will likely have to buy some adapters to match up to your WiFi router. The difference was very impressive. Several areas in the house were absolutely dead with stock antennas. They are all very good to excellent connections now with the two new antennas and the appropriate adapters. Saved me a bunch of money right now by not making me have to upgrade to an N router at this time.

My house has thick walls and I needed to boost signal to my desktop. I bought this two pack to replace my router and my desktop wireless card antennae. Found out my router does not use a standard connection too late, but just replacing the antenna on my desktop took care of my biggest problem. Great product that really works.

My Asus 802.11N wireless card actually got WORSE reception after replacing the stock antennas with these. Yes the signal was actually lower after installing these cheap worthless plastic sticks.

I bought these to improve the signal strength at the other end of my home. When I installed them on my Linkys WRT160NL,the signal strength actually went down 2 bars, to NO bars at the other end of my house.

GOOD WIFI ANT PERIOD!!! BEST WORK WITH N WIRELESS CARDS N AND ROUTER N WIFI WITH SMA CONNECTERS (BONUS USED D-LINK N IS THE BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!!! )

Don't waste your money. It did a poorer job than the stock antennas.

And this is with using DD-WRT, which allows me to tune the wireless signal. I tried tuning my wifi for this antenna, and nothing came close to the original antennas from the manufacturer.

Shipping on this item was faster than expected, which is a good sign for the seller. For the cost, they could be a good addition to someone's wireless network, but do a bit more research than I did and make sure they're right for your router/access point. Please note these do NOT fit the WAP54G (v3.1) Linksys Access Point nor do they fit the WRT54G (v2) Linksys Router.
