I originally purchased six TRENDnet RP-TNC to RP-SMA Adapter TEW-AMBA for my three Linksys routers. Two of the Trendnet converters came apart when installing them with very little finger pressure; not well made or designed. I purchased two of these Alfa converters and was very pleased with both the design and the much, much better quality. I would buy these again.

I bought two +9dBi 15" Booster Antennas for my Linksys WRT54GS. Unfortunately, I could not attach the antennas to the router because the connector at the bottom of the antenna was the wrong size. After some research, I found these adapters on Amazon, and purchased one for each antenna. They work well.

This part is very high quality and exactly what you need for an Amped SB1000 amplified antenna. Equally important, if you need it Amazon is about the only place you can buy this part. You may find other cheaper models but they are just that AND may be mislabeled--this thing is female on the coax end and male on the sma end.

Does what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately I lost this piece due to its small size and have to purchase another one.

Worked just like it was supposed to do. All metal construction, seems pretty durable. I would recommend this to other people who need antenna rp-sma to router rp-tnc converter.

Did the job it was ordered to do. Nothing real special here, it is an adaptor that worked as expected.
