This review is from: Alfa Romeo Spider 1955-1986: (Schiffer Automotive Series) (Hardcover)
If you're into Alfa Romeo Spiders, you'll learn a lot by reading this book, it's really different. Apparently, the 1955~1986 Spiders were quite popular in Germany. So what the author has done is translated a large number of German Alfa Romeo Spider brochures into English. So you have the original German brochures laid out on the pages together with their English translations. If you have ever read translated works, they often come across as nearly "another" language. So these German-to-English translation read somewhat differently than what would have been written in English originally. Which means you can gain different perspectives and insights on these cars by reading the translations. It's fascinating!
