A Superb Book,

This is an extremely accessible book about some of the great persons who have contributed to the success of the Alfa Romeo brand throughout history including Giuseppe Merosi, Nicola Romeo, Giorgio Rimini, Enzo Ferrari, Vittorio Jano, Ugo Gobbato, Gioachino Colombo, Wifredo Ricart, Orazio Satta, Rudolf Hruska, Filippo Surace, and Domenico Chirico. But the thing that makes the book so appealing is that it focuses just as much on the personalities, talents, and accomplishments of these individuals as it does on the Alfa Romeo story. After reading this book, I could much better understand the complexity of the manufacturing process. I certainly view automobiles differently today. A mind boggling amount of work and planning has gone into each and every auto we encounter daily.
