This review is from: Los Ninos Alfabeticos (Paperback)
I personally admire the research Lourdes Ayala and margarita Isona-Rodriguez have been presenting to our Educational community. In a facinating way this lecture explores the most genuine as well as specific way of learning and teaching elementary word-based communication to children. Mexican-origin parents as a tradition have a different way of learning based on their very own way they were taught in Mexico. This fact is going to be reflected in their journey of daily after school help that children will receive from them. In this book the authors also advice parents to how accomodate their old way of learning-teaching to this new culture and way of learning-teaching. In a very cute and sensitive maner learning process are been touched as well as how the surrounding aspects will impact in children education. Without forgetting the respect for a multicultural community this book will take us to a dimension where teaching and learning do not has to be away from culture and pride.I sincery recomend this lecture to those care about our children education.
