Don't Think of it as a Sequel,

Never mind the original Alfie film starring Michael Caine; the only thing the two movies really have in common is the lead character's name and the basic plotline of a Romeo on the make. Alan Price (Animals original keyboard player) is quite convincing a truck driver stud who loves and leaves lots of bawdy, good-looking women, including Joan Collins. Predictably, when Price/Alfie comes across a woman who he is both attracted to and can't have in the usual way, he falls for her and has his lotharion-ness challenged. Jill Townsend is excellent as the sensitive yet headstrong object of Alfie's desire.
