Informative, but a little confusing,

I am currently an eigth grader and am using this book in my school's "challengers" program. I found the book filled with lots of examples on solving polynomials, mixture problems, rational square roots, etc. However, if one does not master the concepts from Chapters 1-6 (this covers everything from factoring plynomials, solving equations and problems, etc.) one will have a hard time understanding new material from Chapter 7 and on.

The book was exactly what I ordered for my son. Amazon.com is an easy and reliable source for books,videos,dvd's... This was my first experience buying items on Amazon.com. I ordered two other books for my son from other sellers and I found them all to be reliable as well. The books were exactly the way the explantaion read. I found the sellers to be very honest. I would use this site again. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the Algebra book could not be sent express mail. The other two book sellers offered regular and express mail. The Algebra book was only offered regular mail. In our situation we needed it ASAP.
