I love this product! It reminds me of Pssssst! and though the smell is different, I think it's very nice. It makes your hair feel very soft and nice and doesn't make it too white (although with any spray item, at times it has a mind of its own and deposits more powder than spray). One of the reasons I really like this product is that it is a "refresher" as well. I cannot wash my "down to my boobs" hair every day, or I will have to cut it off. Plus, I have OILY hair. So I REALLY need help here. I have been very pleased with the results of the Algemarin. i have to say that my favorite is still the old Pssssst! with scent, but they do not make it any more so that settles that!

As I wrote in my other review of another dry shampoo, there is a technique to using dry shampoo and if you are anything but grey haired or blonde, there is a procedure you must follow. First, never spray it on hair that will be the outer hairs of your "do" meaning don't spray it where you plan to part your hair. Spray it just underneath it. Second after spraying, take a towel and towel rub it through your hair. Then take a soft BRISTLE brush and brush your hair till all the white is gone and it looks more normal. Wipe off any remaining "white" residue with a slightly damp washcloth or soft paper towel. Style as usual!

I've tried three dry shampoos so far: Pssst!, Klorane, Algemarin, and Bumble & Bumble (updated). This one if by FAR the best one out of those four. It has a nice smell, doesn't dry out my hair, and a little goes a long way. Since I tried the colored B&B dry shampoo, you should know that it made my fingertips brown every time I'd touch my hair. That...and it dried the tar out of my hair.

If you're looking for an EXCELLENT dry shampoo, try this one first and save yourself some time. I'm going to be stocking up, personally.

I get very excited when a product actually delivers on it's promise. I've tried other similar products, the Bumble&Bumble powder is very expensive and messy, plus it wipes out your shine and weighs down the hair. The Klorane is good, (not the extra gentle one - the regular one), it has the faintest scent but it's not nearly as effective as the Algemarin. The Algemarin smells strongly perfumey at first, but the scent almost disappears and leaves your hair clean, mine actually looks like I shampooed it, and that was what I was going for. I'm not able to cut my blowdrying and flat-ironing in half and will be saving my hair! Great product. I shampoo for real one day and use this the next day. AND it's about half the price of the Klorane. (Psssst isn't as good either and smells like deodorant.) Algemarin ROCKS.

I agree with the other reviewers of the Algemarin Shampoo "Dry-Powder Spray"; it is the BEST product of its kind on the market. I too have tried other spray-shampoos, but none compare to the Algemarin.

Pros:
- pretty simple and easy application. bottom line, it works.
- very pleasant fragrance. (its not even that strong, which is good)
- attractive blue bottle

Cons:
- Nope, nothing.

My first review of this product hasn't shown up on Amazon for some reason, so I'll try again. This is a pretty good product, works about as well as Klorane, although I like the smell of klorane better. My biggest gripe is that I only got to use about half of the product before the can malfunctioned and wouldn't spray. This is a pricey product, so losing half of it due to a defect in the can design was QUITE annoying. I may try it again, but will probably try PSSSST first.

I was able to use this product one time and then the bottle jammed up and it will not spray anymore. When I purchased, I read other reviews that said this bottle does this - and I disregarded them. I wish I hadn't. That is a lot of money to get out of shampooing your hair ONE time!

I really like this product because it does what it says it does. It has a nice smell. I wash my blonde hair every other day and I love to use this on my off day to refresh my style and remove oils from product build-up. I also have to boys who don't like to shower every day. I use this before school to refresh their hair. I'm stocking up because I can't be without it!

I tried this after using 2 other similar products and I have to say I was disappointed. My hair did feel clean after using Algemarin but it felt like straw - very firm and dry with no shine whatsoever. I also couldn't style it after use and that's a major disadvantage because my hairstyle was quite messed up after brushing off the spray.

My bottle malfunctioned after only 4 uses - it could only dispense liquid without the starch. Since the starch is what actually absorbs oil form the hair it was completely useless and I had to throw it away.

Overall not worth the money, I will be going back to Psssst!

I really like using this product to give my roots a matte finish and cover up the roots in general because my hair is very light blonde. I'm not too sure if I would recommend this product to someone with dark hair because it sprays out completely while and doesn't blend in 100%. It's a great price compared to Bumble and Bumble's white spray hair powder, which I found to be a bit pricey.

My daughter had ear surgery and it was suggested she use dry shampoo so as not to get her ear wet for three weeks. This product is wonderful! You'd never know she didn't actually have it washed - her hair looked clean and shiny every day.
