Rai is undoubtably some of the most popular music from the Middle East. This Algerian version of pop-hip-hop and local folk is catchy and accessible to anyone who likes World Sound mixed with pop. I put this on and had to play it twice through. It's that good. I would recommend this for parties in summer, as the music just warms up the deck, backyard or street party and gets people moving as well as snapping their fingers. Just great, one of the best to come out of Arc Music this year.

I really like this cd...as I'm a big Rai fan...I collect lot of them...but this cd is so special,it's for dance or just chillin..my favourite track is cheb hamid...by the way algeria is a north african country! and it has nothing to do with da midle east...cause algerian people have their own identity and their own style of music...

I ordered this just before Christmas and didn't think there was a chance it would arrive in time. I was surprised at how quickly it came and I was able to have it under the tree.
