Eulalia knows very clearly what she wants. She and her husband, a consecrated writer thirty years her senior, surround themselves with a social group who are the crème of the crop of public figures. Through the protagonist we will learn about the world that surrounds literary glory: the ambitions and frustrations of those who need to be admired and look to share their fame.
