Writer's Digest 10th. Annual International Self-Published Book Awards Evaluation Sheet. What impressed you most about this book? "What impressed me most about Alias the Tank was the overall commitment to a good premise/plot, and an especially good opening chapter. In the beginning of the book, I noted the following strengths: 1) An intriguing plot, 2) dialogue that is true to characters' voices and sounds natural and authentic, 3) an intimate first-person point of view with excellent observations, insights, and emotions. 4) nice movement and rendering of scenes, 5) a well-thought out plot structure with a series of flashbacks, 6) geat nicknames for characters, 7) nice sense of tension and 8) a convincing, terrifying scene about being paralyzed." |
