Product Description

Editorial Review
Long before the ghoulish antics of Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Ozzy gave parents something to worry about, the shrewd son of an Arizona minister, Vince Furnier--a.k.a. Alice Cooper--set the standard by which all other shock-rockers would forever be judged. Now McFarlane Toys, one of the acknowledged leaders in action-figure design and manufacture, presents this 6-inch articulated figure of the original Sultan of Shock Rock. Clad in his usual black leathers, Alice comes draped with a boa constrictor and can be posed in a diorama that includes the longtime centerpiece of his live show, a guillotine. There's even a severed Alice head in the set's basket. Other familiar accessories from his stage show include Alice's black top hat, spiders, a saber, and crutch. The figure is designed as a collector's display piece, but is sturdy enough for play. --Matthew Mason

5.0 out of 5 stars A Theatrical Rock Legend in All His Detailed Glory, August 30, 2000
By L. W. "laceandwhiskey" (Mississippi USA) - See all my reviews
Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This figure is amazing. Those of you who are familiar with McFarlane Toys know how exquisitely detailed they are, but to transform a living legend such as Alice Cooper into a figure this realistic is quite an accomplishment, even for them. He comes with a 14-piece Diorama which you can set up for display or use individual pieces from to create your own scene. These are all included: Alice Cooper (in black vest & pants with leopard-skin thigh-high boots); a mean-looking green snake over twice as long as Alice himself; a crutch; a sword with a pack of dollar bills on the tip; a working, bloodstained guillotine with base; Alice's severed head; bloodstained basket for the head; cane; spiderweb; 4 spiders; a green plastic Alice Cooper logo; top hat; and what looks like the headboard to the Cold Ethyl wrought iron bed. Alice himself is painted so well that he looks like he might move or speak at any moment. A collectible this well-made is sure to increase in value. I expect to be buying several more so that I will have extras to play with and to keep mint. I would never have guessed that a figure this well done would be less than ... There's nothing more to say....just go buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars BILLION DOLLAR BABY, January 24, 2001
Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
HERE HE IS MUSIC FANS, THE BILLION DOLLAR BABY HIMSELF, ALICE COOPER. IT'S NICE TO SEE THAT McFARLANE TOYS HAS FINALLY GOTTEN AROUND TO DOING AN ALICE FIGURE AFTER DOING OZZY AND ROB ZOMBIE FIGURES. I MEAN, SHOULDN'T THEY HAVE STARTED WITH HIM? THE FIGURE AND ALL IT'S ACCESSORIES LOOK GREAT BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIS SNAKE AS A BOA CONSTRICTOR INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE IT INTO SOME SORT OF VIPER. ALL IN ALL, A GREAT FIGURE FOR A GREAT PERFORMER. WHO'S NEXT MARILYN MANSON? WOULDN'T THOSE 4 LOOK GREAT ON THE SAME SHELF?

4.0 out of 5 stars A very spooky and cool action figure!, August 29, 2000

I recently bought this action figure and i must say that i was really impressed with the high details that Mcfarlane Toys put on this early 70's shock rocker. From the creppy snake that wraps around alice cooper's body to it's very deatailed guillotine with a severd bloody head, all i can say it's just a phenomenal action figure to have if you are a big alice copper fan (like myself)..This toy is definitely not for younger children because of the graphic nature of a bloddy dismembered head, BUT it's definitely a good collector item for all die hard McFarlane Toys collector like myself.
