5.0 out of 5 stars Nice picture book on sexual abuse for children, September 30, 2008
This review is from: Alice Doesn't Babysit Anymore (Paperback)
This book presents a story about a babysitter who teaches a brother and sister to play "special games", i.e finding pennies in each other underwear. These games escalate to taking baths with an emphasis on "washing private parts" and other inappropriate touching.

The children's varied feelings are expressed and they are supported when they let a new, older babysitter in on the games they used to play when Alice babysat.

It is written in a simple matter of fact way with illustrations on each page. It would be a good resource to read to children, especially if they had a similar experience which could lead to more discussion.

It should be noted that no law enforcement is involved in the story. Alice's parents are told and Alice goes for counseling is what is presented.
