For many years I read the Alice and Greta books to K through grade 3 children. Always they loved the stories and now my two grandgirls, ages nearly 6 and just turned 4 love them. These two little witches in the stories are very likeable and the children relate to the problem behavior of the one little witch...jealousy and mean spiritedness are found in all of us from time to time. We all have a mean bean in our heart that gets us into trouble every now and then. These are great stories for a child to own and for someone to read to them or with them!!
