4.0 out of 5 stars Falling down the rabbit hole update
Just started the game and noted that previous reviewers could not get it to work. I have had no problems inatalling and running the game. This games minmum requirements for it to run are:
8x DVD ROM or better, Vista with service pack2 and 1 GB RAM or XP with Service pack 3 and 512 MB RAM, 2.0 GHz or higher Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon equivalent processor, 6 GB of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Alice in Wonderland PC version
The game is fun once you figure out how to play it. I couldn't find anything in the game showing what key to press for things like jumping. My 6 year old and I had to figure it out by pressing each key. There isn't a way to change your key bindings either. There is a place in the menu that shows you how to use your characters abilities, which was nice. Navigating to...

Just started the game and noted that previous reviewers could not get it to work. I have had no problems inatalling and running the game. This games minmum requirements for it to run are:
8x DVD ROM or better, Vista with service pack2 and 1 GB RAM or XP with Service pack 3 and 512 MB RAM, 2.0 GHz or higher Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon equivalent processor, 6 GB of uncompressed hard drive space and finally a 3D video card supporting Shaders: 2.0 GeFordce FX or better, ATI Radeon 9500 or better,

My computer exceeds the above requirements so have no running problems. I have found the key board controls confusing (I love mouse control games) and the enclosed info on how the get to the menu was wrong. I suggest you read the info on the DVD that covers the control keys before starting the game.

Update:

Finally finished the game and I look forward to a quiet, relaxing adventure game with no battles and lots of puzzles for the mind.

Pros
Beautiful and entertaining graphics. For the price, you get bang for your buck. It is truly an adventure with a group of wonderfull characters, each having unique powers. If you like fast moving action while trying to figure out which characters and which powers will eliminate your foes, this game is for you. Don't worry, if you lose the battle you just start again and fight till you succeed. If you need hints, Disney Interactive and YouTube is available.

Cons (for me)
I am a fan of mouse driven games more like Myst, Mysterious Journey, etc. This game is not that. The game is key board operation only and was difficult at first to figure out. One of the pamphlet instructions was wrong (pause/menu was stated as the esc key, which I found out should have been the enter key). Needless to say, I rarely read the CD Readme, txt file. With this game it is a good read!

The game feature that I am not used to is the frequent battles that require speed and agility with the key board. I like solitary, first-person, puzzle games. Here you have to battle quickly switching between various characters with different magical powers. I find it truly challenging and for me exhausting.

The feature I dislike the most is the limited save opportunities. You cannot save your progress until you reach a PILLAR location in the game. There are times I had to exit the game before I reached the save site. I think that the game makers could have found a better save process.

There is a place in the menu that shows you how to use your characters abilities, which was nice. Navigating to the menu took a while to figure out as well. I wish it would incorporate the mouse, like most PC games, for looking around and certain actions such as shooting or fighting, etc. For the low price it is on amazon right now, it isn't a bad game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never got to play., January 26, 2011

I ordered this game a while back and thought it would be fun. I thought wrong. Running this game is VIRTUALLY impossible and there's hardly ANY online help for this problem. I'm sure this game would've been fun if it ran properly. If you want an Alice in Wonderland game, get the DS version. That's what I'll be doing.

EDIT(1/2/12): I recently got to play the game now that I upgraded a few things and the game is absolutely brilliant! Because of that, I'm removing my one star rating and giving this the 5 it deserves. Do NOT purchase this game if your computer isn't running high end tech.

2.0 out of 5 stars can't get it to work, November 7, 2010

So i got this game for my birthday (I'm a huge alice in wonderland fan) and installed it right away. I have a brand new (as in less then a year old) Asus computer with windows 7. The game installed okay but the movements of the characters is so jerky it's very hard to do anything. I also can't seem to save, I do everything the game tells me to do (i've even looked up on the internet) but it just won't save. A fine game I'm sure if you can get it to run right.

Cannot rate the game since I cannot get the game to work. Have tried everything. Will not bore you with details but my computer has the latest software, downloads etc. etc. But no matter what I do the game will not run. Tried every trick everyone has written. I am calling Disney Tech and if they do not help, I want my money back.

My daughter is so disappointed. She put her monthly allowance into this game and nothing can get it started!!!!! We checked and double checked all the requirements - all is in place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!No patches or advice on the game's website either. What a waste of money.

Hello I have found that if a persons pc is older then 3 years old and it has less then 2 gb of ram installing will be a problem. My current pc has 4 gb of ram. Maybe before an install go this route if game will not install. Click computer>drive:e,click properties, click compatibility run in Vista then try xp. Game should install

I can't really give an accurate review of this pc game since we cannot get it to work on our computer. I've installed it 3 times and uninstalled it twice. Our computer is only a year old so it has pretty up to date programs. Not sure what the deal is.
